Game Review

There are a lot of games on the list; my teammate and I randomly picked 5 games out of 17 games.

The first game we played was Jurassic Heart. The link is http://hima.gptouch.com/games/jurassic_heart/. The game was based on dialogue with a dinosaur whose name was Sim. The game started at a bedroom, then you picked an option within the dialogue that bring you to different scene.  But in the game, when you picked a wrong hair clip, there was a loop. It kept asking you to reselect other clip until you got the right one. The whole idea of the game was dating with Sim. The end of the game interested me because we didn’t know what was going to happen to us.  My teammate had a nice ending that was Sim said “Bye”. For my ending, I made Sim mad, and then Sim left the store.

The second game we played was Canabalt. The link is http://www.kongregate.com/games/AdamAtomic/canabalt. This game had nice music, which made the game more interesting.  The game was sort of “action” game. The game gave you a nice instruction on how to play when you loaded the game. You started the game at a hall, when there was a gap between two builds, you have to jump to other building by pushing x key on the keyboard. There was no win in this game. You could go as far as you could.

The third game we played was You Have to Burn The Rope. The link is http://www.kongregate.com/games/mazapan/you-have-to-burn-the-rope. The game gave instructions as you move from left to right. The game was controlled by up, down, left and right keyboard. When you reached to the master room, you need to get the torch by jumping to the top. Then you carried the torch to burn the rope, and a light would drop on the master. The interesting thing about this game was that the music at the end of the game was very long.

The fourth game we played was QWOP. The link is http://www.foddy.net/Athletics.html. This was a sport game. The game was controlled by QWOP on the keyboard. The game was hard at first because you didn’t know how to move the character to run. When you pushed only one of the four keys, the character felt to the ground, and you lose. To win this game, you had to push two keys at the same time to make a balance to the character, which made the game became interesting and fun.

The fifth game we played was This Is The Only Level. The link is http://armorgames.com/play/4309/this-is-the-only-level. This game was hard and fun. This game was hard because each level, it didn’t give you instruction on how to move the elephant from one side to other. The game was fun because it made you enjoy playing the game.  Each level of the game had different strategy to win the game.
